Sara Kathryn and McCreight

What an amazing wedding, and what wonderful families. I understand now why both Sara Kathryn and McCreight are such joys. Everything was sooo beautiful, organized perfectly, and was absolutely delightful.

It has taken me so long to get the wedding on line (they are not on yet). We took over 1500 images and I am down to about 915 but am having a hard time culling..I want to show you them all! The event code is sarakathryn so please take a little look. I am posting some pictures to tease you. I promise that all of the wedding pictures will be online soonish. Enjoy!

Babies, Belly's, Babies, Belly's

I am having so much fun with my brides who are having babies. The belly's are amazing! I can hardly wait for that call so I can capture the joy of the newborn.

My babies that are here are beautiful too..enjoy the sweet.

Be good.

How many more miles?

I recently ran a 5k. It was brutal. Although I did cut a couple minutes off my time from last year.
Last night I biked 30 miles with a former bride and friend Danielle. We even had the pleasure of John Curry joining us. The Greenville Spinners is an awesome group of folks. You should join us on Thursdays, or the party, errr ride at Donaldson Center on Tuesdays. Check the Greenville Spinners web site for more details.
I am aiming to do a full blown tri in August....if you have any advice let me know...

Carla and Jarred

Carla and Jarred had a wedding of their dreams. I absolutely loved being a part of this family's celebration.
They enjoyed a horse drawn carriage, hundreds of guests, an outdoor wedding, fashionable cowboy boots, Circle M BBQ; Mary Helen, dancing and just a tad of rain.
Deb and Carla did an incredible job on the multitude of details. (Although Deb is a pro; Carla is Deb and Mike's third daughter to get married in a year. Deb is available to do your wedding too..) The flowers were beautiful and they were everywhere. Jarred's Mom helped too, she arranged many flowers for this day.
Jarred and his dad made the alter out of trees that came from Jarred's farm. You really have to look at the pictures to understand the amount of hard work that went into this stupendous wedding.
Carla and Jared are very blessed to be loved by so many.
Oh, I think Aunt Tammy is a highlight, and I think Ana needs to come work with me again.
Don't you just love a wedding? Look at all of the proofs by using: carla as the event preview code.

Sara and Ryan

Oh my gosh...what a wonderful wedding season...I guess you might guess that considering I am late posting these pictures! Sara and Ryan had their wedding in Honea Path and the reception at Sara's home. The details and the beauty were overwhelming. Please take a look at all of the pictures by using the event code: sara

Cara and Bryant

Yesterday I was able to return to Clinton to photograph Cara and Bryant's wedding day.
The bride and her bridesmaids were gorgeous, gracious and kind.
The 19 men, yes 19 men wore swallowtail tuxedos with white gloves.
The entire event was very formal and so beautiful my words cannot describe the elegance. I was honored to be able to photograph and to be a part of the Blanton wedding day. I have posted one picture to give you a peek but I will post more later...enjoy!

Emily and Aaron's Wedding!

It was great doing a wedding on May 24th!

Emily's expressions and the easy going nature of the bridal party made our job easy..The pictures are great, so I am going to give you a little preview.

I have been going through them and through them but I am having great pains getting to only 400 proofs.

Aaron's family was soooo nice, and Aaron was already familiar with my quirkiness, so he was very relaxed when I teased him. Aaron's father had talked to Emily's father so he had the heads up on how ditsy I can be...

But hey, everyone is smiling in family pictures, even Emily's Grandpa.

The code is emily . Enjoy them later tonight!

Sarah Kathryn

Photographed Sarah Kathryn Dannelly on May 23. I had so much fun and the variety of pictures she has to choose from shows just how photogenic she is. Sarah Kathryn's dress is scrumptious and her itty bitty waist is amazing. Sarah Katheryn is a wonderful woman and I cannot wait until I have the privilege of photographing her and her family again. Our last stop on Friday was Furman and the ideas just kept flowing..in fact so much so I went to Emily Miller's rehearsal in grass stained khakis, and wild hair (okay, so the hair is always wildish). See, you have to understand, the light was perfect, my bride was beautiful, and the family was very fun.

Brides, Brides and more Brides!

Spent a wonderful time photographing Carla Roger and her entourage; traveled to the Clemson Campus and then to her and Jared's farm. It was a great time trying to keep Elvis (Jared's roping horse) off of Carla's dress. The pictures are wonderful...but I think Mary Helen was disappointed with me as I didn't snap the picture when Elvis looked the best...Can't wait to do the wedding..I have shopped extensively on EBAY for just the right cowboy wedding attire. I am a little nervous as I think I may look a little like Miss Kitty (Gunsmoke's famous bartender). Can't wait!

It has been a long time...

I am so sorry...I have been sooooo busy, I have forgotten to blog...broke the blogging community rules...So sit back and enjoy..I will catch you up on my life!

Ryan and Drew

Ryan, Drew and Mrs. Sanders stopped by yesterday. All of my children (Adriana included) were in the camera room trying to amuse the sweet baby we consider our own. I met Ryan because he has his own lawn care business and makes our yard sparkle..(if only he'd pull weeds). Ryan and Drew spent Thanksgiving with us too! Tomorrow Ryan takes Noah turkey hunting....Okay, enough about Ryan, go look at the pictures...the code is: drew Enjoy!

The competition is on.....

I just returned home from a glorious weekend at North Myrtle Beach. My hosts were Ryan and Sara. We were on the beach by 6:30 am, and the pictures are beautiful.

Again, I am applying things that I learned from the Wiebners. You might notice there is an element of surprise in some of the pictures....Thank you Grandma.

So, now I guess the competition is on..first was Ryan and Rachel, now Ryan and Sara. Can you outdo these two couples?

OH please, let's try. Take me to the beach.

Enjoy!

Be good.

The Coyle Boys!

Oh what great fun!

My studio was filled with little boys! Redmond and Freda Coyle brought their grandsons for Easter portraits. The activity was lively, and the final prints are adorable. However, there is only one photograph where all three boys are in the same room.......I hope the Coyles have a wonderful Easter and have great fun traveling on the Easter Bunny Train!

Tough Week

This week has been really tough. My niece Jana who lives in Wisconsin is pregnant with her first baby. On Monday, Jana and her husband Tim were told that their baby boy has a fatal kidney defect. Our family is heartbroken. My family will travel home to Wisconsin when all of the details are in place. Please pray for us.

Bridal Fair in Anderson

Hey, if you want to come to a wedding planning event, come to the Anderson Hilton on Sunday.
The bridal fair starts at 11:00.
If you haven't been to an Elegance Showcase Wedding Show before, (www.ElegantWeddingShowcase.com) you need to come to this one!
I will be doing a live bridal shoot with one of my spring brides; Karissa Waterman. We have it planned for about 2:00 pm.
The Bridal & Formal Shoppe of Pendleton is providing the wedding dress and it is lavender...When I called Pam Rowland (www.pamrowland.com/events.htm) to help with the bridal flowers she was almost giddy. Pam had been in to meet with Kim (owner of the bridal shop) and absolutely loved the dress.
Keith Rhodes is doing my new promotional CD for the event...can't wait to see that (vkrhodes@charter.net).
Come to the Hilton on Sunday. Win great gifts!

Amanda and Brad

On Wednesday evening I had the chance to meet with Amanda and Brad. It is always fun to meet both the bride and groom at the initial interview so that I can see how they interact. Brad was a groomsman in Marianne and Rex's wedding and Amanda is one of Lindsey and Jay's friends. They definitely have a clue about their photographer's style. They are getting married April 13th at Speigel Farms. I am excited that they have chosen me to be their photographer. Yippee! Oh check back soon, I am doing the engagement pictures tomorrow....unless it snows.

The McFarlins

The McFarlins have a new addition; Micah. He just goes with the flow..could be the parent's influence. The outfits the children have are amazing as April hand smocks and sews! It was great to see the entire family again. Please enjoy the pictures.
